Belkin BoostCharge Power Bank 10K with Display Review

Belkin BoostCharge Power Bank 10K with Display Review

Power banks have become one of those products that quietly earn a permanent place in your bag. You don't think about them much until your phone battery drops into the red and there's no power point in sight.

I've been using the Belkin BoostCharge Power Bank 10K with Display for several months, carrying it around Melbourne, taking it on flights and most recently travelling with it to Milan Design Week 2026.

While there are larger and more capable power banks available, its compact size, built-in cable and useful display have made it one of the easiest power banks to carry every day.

Essentials

  • 10,000mAh battery capacity
  • Up to 20W USB-C Power Delivery output
  • Two USB-C ports
  • Built-in detachable 15cm USB-C cable
  • Digital battery display
  • Pass-through charging support
  • 233g weight
  • Travel-ready design

Using It

This is the kind of power bank that's always ready to go.

The attached USB-C cable means one less thing to carry. With everything already attached, I can simply drop it into my bag and know it’s ready when I need it.

The digital display removes the guesswork. Rather than relying on a few LED dots, it shows exactly how much charge is left.

A quick glance is all it takes to see how much charge remains before your next flight, commute or day out.

In day-to-day use, the 10,000mAh battery has been enough to recharge my phone around twice before the power bank itself needs recharging. I'm using an iPhone 17 which has approximately 4000mAh of battery inside.

It supports up to 20W charging when powering a single device, which is enough to take advantage of fast charging on most newer phones. That’s one of the reasons I still prefer a wired power bank. A quick 15-minute charge in my bag is often more useful than slowly topping up from a wireless battery bank.

Pass-through charging is also supported, allowing the power bank to charge itself while charging another device. It’s particularly handy in hotel rooms with limited power outlets.

Small Details

Belkin has also paid attention to some of the smaller details. The included 15cm USB-C cable attaches to a braided loop on one corner of the power bank, making it harder to lose in a bag. Attached caps help keep the connectors clean while travelling.

The attached USB-C cable makes it easy to top up a phone while travelling, with no extra cables required.

The blue version I tested stands out from the sea of black power banks on the market and is easier to spot when it’s disappeared into the bottom of a backpack.

The housing, excluding the cable, is made from a minimum of 72 per cent post-consumer recycled plastic, while the packaging is completely plastic-free. It’s a small but welcome step towards reducing waste.

Travel Ready

At 233g, the BoostCharge 10K is light enough to throw into a backpack, sling bag or carry-on without a second thought. The 10,000mAh capacity strikes a practical balance between portability and endurance.

Belkin describes the power bank as suitable for carry-on travel, and the back of the unit is covered in certifications for markets around the world, including China’s CCC (China Compulsory Certificate).

During a layover in Shanghai on my way to Milan Design Week 2026, airport security specifically checked for the CCC marking. It’s a small detail, but one that highlights the value of buying a properly certified power bank from an established brand.

Trust and Charging

Battery banks are one of those products where trust matters. You’re carrying a lithium-ion battery in your bag, taking it onto planes and plugging it into expensive devices.

Belkin includes SmartProtect, a suite of safety features that monitor temperature, protect against over-voltage and short circuits, detect overloads and use fire-resistant materials.

The power bank supports USB-C Power Delivery (PD) input up to 20W, allowing it to be recharged using most modern USB-C chargers. Using a 20W charger, I found a full recharge took around two hours.

Belkin backs it with a two-year warranty and a $2,500 Connected Equipment Warranty (CEW).

Certifications from markets around the world, including China’s CCC approval, helped make the BoostCharge 10K one less thing to worry about while travelling internationally.

Price and Availability

The Belkin BoostCharge Power Bank 10K with Display has an RRP of $69.95 AUD.

It's available in Black, Blue, Pink, Sand and White.

Available from the following retailers:

While there are cheaper 10,000mAh power banks available, the built-in cable, digital display and focus on safety make this one feel a little more considered.

Tech That Fits Take

The Belkin BoostCharge Power Bank 10K with Display isn’t the biggest or most capable power bank on the market, but that’s precisely why it works.

Compact, lightweight and thoughtfully designed, it’s the sort of power bank that’s easy to throw in a bag and forget about until you need it.

If you primarily need to keep a phone, earbuds or other small devices charged throughout the day, it’s a reliable option that earns its place in your everyday carry.

Those looking to charge laptops or multiple power-hungry devices will be better served by a larger power bank. For everyone else, the BoostCharge 10K strikes an excellent balance between size, convenience and portability.
