Xbox Games Showcase 2026: Xbox Celebrates 25 Years With New Console And Major Game Reveals

Xbox has wrapped up its 2026 Games Showcase, unveiling a limited-edition 25th Anniversary Xbox Series X alongside new trailers, release dates and gameplay reveals for some of its biggest upcoming titles.

Hosted by Xbox CEO Asha Sharma, the showcase celebrated 25 years of Xbox with the announcement of the Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition and Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition. Inspired by the original Xbox console, both feature a translucent green design and several nods to Xbox history.

The showcase also included the first gameplay reveal for Gears of War: E-Day, a new look at Halo: Campaign Evolved, the return of Spyro, a release date for Fable, the announcement of Persona 6 and the reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's new DMZ extraction mode.

Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition

The Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition features a translucent OG Green design inspired by the original Xbox console, along with a glowing green Xbox logo and commemorative 25th Anniversary details.

A matching Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition will also be available. The collection launches in select markets this November, with pricing and preorder details yet to be announced.

The showcase also featured updates for Senua, Persona 4 Revival, METRO 2039, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, Crazy Taxi: World Tour and Where Winds Meet.
