Xbox FanFest Is Coming to Sydney in 2026

Xbox has confirmed its annual Xbox Games Showcase will return on June 8, streaming live for Australian viewers at 3am AEST.

The annual showcase is expected to highlight upcoming games across Xbox’s ecosystem, but this year’s announcement comes with a local bonus: Sydney has officially been added to the global Xbox FanFest tour as part of Xbox’s 25th anniversary celebrations.

Sydney Joins the FanFest Tour

Xbox FanFest is expanding into a global event this year, with confirmed stops including:

  • Los Angeles (June 7, 2026)
  • Cologne
  • London
  • Mexico City
  • Seattle
  • Sydney
  • Tokyo
  • Toronto

FanFest events typically bring together players, developers and the wider Xbox community through live experiences and special showcases.

What to Expect

While Xbox hasn’t confirmed Sydney-specific details yet, FanFest events often include:

  • Early access to upcoming games
  • Live presentations
  • Community events and meetups
  • Exclusive experiences for Xbox fans

Each city usually gets its own local programming, so Sydney’s event may differ from the Los Angeles showcase.

25th Anniversary Merch

Alongside the FanFest announcement, Xbox has also released a 25th anniversary merchandise collection.

Australian pricing starts at $59.95 AUD for t-shirts, with a limited local range available through Culture Kings Australia.

The full collection is also available through Xbox’s US merchandise store.

Xbox 25th anniversary tees have started landing in Australia - $59.95 AUD via Culture Kings Australia.
