Samsung Electronics is set to showcase a new exhibition at Milan Design Week 2026 titled "Design is an Act of Love," exploring what it calls the human side of technology.
The installation takes the form of a Samsung Design Open Lab - a space designed for experimentation rather than a traditional product showcase. Visitors will move through a mix of experimental concepts and current Samsung products, offering a glimpse into how early ideas evolve into everyday technology.
Rather than focusing on specs or new launches, the exhibition is positioned as a look at direction - how design can make technology feel more personal, emotional and better integrated into daily life.
It also builds on what was shown earlier this year at CES 2026, where Samsung's vision of AI was framed around "companions for everyday life." Milan feels like the design layer of that idea - less about the technology itself, and more about how it fits into real homes and daily routines.

As part of the program, Samsung will also host a Design Talk session with Dezeen on April 22, exploring the evolving relationship between design and humanity.
For Milan Design Week, it's the kind of installation that's less about products, and more about where design and technology are heading.
