Dishwashers haven’t changed much in years, but Midea’s new Easy-Lift Dishwasher introduces a feature that feels surprisingly obvious once you see it.
Its lower basket can rise by up to 25cm, bringing dishes closer to waist height and reducing the need to bend down when loading or unloading.
It’s a simple design tweak, but one that could make a genuine difference for households dealing with back pain, mobility issues, or anyone who’s simply tired of crouching to unpack a full dishwasher.

And this isn’t just a lightweight demo feature. The Easy-Lift basket can raise with up to 18kg of dishes, making it practical for real-world family use.
Beyond the lift-up basket, the Easy-Lift is positioned as a premium dishwasher with 15 place settings, quiet 43dB operation, and features like Dual Zone Wash, Auto Wash sensors, and ActiveOpen Dry.
Midea has also included its Spacemaster Design, which increases internal capacity by up to 9% compared to a standard 60cm dishwasher, helping fit larger cookware and glassware more easily.
Easy-Lift Dishwasher is positioned as a premium appliance, but its standout feature isn’t flashy smart tech. It’s a practical design change that could make an everyday chore a little easier.
